When organizing an exhibition,Established by the hunting departments of the CIS countries (in Russia and Ukraine there is the Regulation on the exhibitions and broods of hunting dogs from 1981), it must be borne in mind that not only the exterior, but also the working qualities of the tax are important here. Dogs are allowed to breed only according to the results of a comprehensive assessment - bonitet.

On the broods only the exterior of the dog is evaluated,Conformity to the standard, breed and origin. Picks are held, as a rule, twice a year. Young dogs take part in them. They receive only exterior assessments, but the titles are not awarded and no bonus is given. For the exterior of a young dog can get three ratings: "very good", "good" and "satisfactory". For the evaluation of "very good" issued a large silver medal, for the assessment of "good" - Small silver token.

Specialized hunting exhibitions areThe most popular among owners of working dogs, and the awards and valuations received on them are the most prestigious. As a rule, when assessing the class nature of hunting dogs, estimates obtained at any exhibitions other than specialized ones are not taken into account.

At exhibitions of hunting dogs they are divided into groupsBy age and sex. There are three age groups. In the younger dogs are exposed at the age of 10 to 16 months, in the middle - from 1.5 to 3 years, in the senior - from 3 to 10 years.

Expertise at the exhibition begins with an assessmentThe exterior. In the younger age group, the score "excellent" for the exterior is not awarded. Dogs are evaluated both in static and in motion. The dental system is checked, the males are examined for cryptorchidism, the expert evaluates the backbone, musculature, condition of the dog. Then the dogs look on the move. Here all the advantages and disadvantages of the structure, anatomical defects, the level of physical preparation are revealed. After the final comparative examination and placement of the dogs, the expert makes a description of each dog and presents an assessment.

A score of "excellent" is given to a dog whosePerfectly expressed pedigree type, type of sexual constitution, there are no anatomical deficiencies, the type of coat and color correspond to the standard of this breed variety. The dog is in excellent physical shape, the type of psyche corresponds to the breed, it behaves calmly, in a balanced manner, does not pay attention to other dogs, allows the expert to inspect and, if necessary, measure himself.

The rating "very good" is put to the dog, which differs from the "excellent student" only by the presence of small imperfections that do not become vices and are not genetic.

A "good" score is given to a dog who has a number of deficiencies in the structure or there are no more than two defects. Dogs with a rating of "good" are practically not used in breeding.

Evaluation "satisfactory" is given to dogs with vices that exclude their use in breeding.

Mestizos, dogs unidentified or documentedNot confirmed origin, being in non-exhibition condition, the patients remain unrated and are removed from the ring. The expert also has the right to remove from the exhibition a dog that does not know how to behave, aggressive, does not allow to conduct an inspection, or a dog whose owner violates the rules of conduct and exhibiting, disputes with the judge, interferes with the examination process, interferes with the exhibition.

It should be emphasized that the assessment for the exterior onHunting shows is not sufficient to award a medal. Medal dogs receive for their class. Class is determined by the results of bonitovy - complex scoring of the dog's exterior, working qualities, level of offspring.
